Weddings & Showers
I bring a live laser engraving station to your cocktail hour, reception, or shower. Guests pick a keepsake, tell me the name or message, and watch it get engraved in a few minutes.
A Favor They Watch Being Made
Instead of ordering favors ahead of time, your guests choose an item, give me a name or short message, and watch it become personalized right at your event. The favor becomes something to do while they mingle, and each person leaves with a keepsake made for them.
The menu is kept simple so the line keeps moving: keychains, pet tags, ornaments, coasters, bottle openers, and small wood keepsakes, from $5 to $30 each. Each guest's name or message is included in the item price, and you pick one or two items from the menu that suit your guests and your budget.
Where It Fits
Live engraving works best where guests already have time to stand, chat, and watch.
Guests have time to wander over while the wedding party is busy with photos. It gives them something to do and something to talk about before dinner is served.
A station set up off to the side lets guests drop by between dances and courses and leave with a personalized piece before the night ends.
Bridal showers and other wedding-related events can use the same setup, with a smaller guest count and a more relaxed pace.
Good to Know
I'm one engraver with one station, so a few practical details help me plan around your day.
Each piece takes about 2–5 minutes, so plan on roughly 15 to 25 pieces per hour. A two-hour window covers roughly 30 to 50 pieces.
For a larger guest list, I'll suggest a smaller menu or an extra hour so nobody waits long. Events run 2 to 4 hours, and I book one event per day.
I need about a 6 ft × 4 ft space, a table, and one standard outlet within 15 ft. Indoors or under cover is best, since the equipment and materials need to stay dry.
No outlet at your venue? I can bring a portable power station for a one-time $50 fee, for events up to 3 hours. Longer events need an outlet. Please mention it when you inquire.
If you can, mention the engraving station to your venue or planner early so a spot is set aside.
I handle my own setup, signage, and breakdown, so there's nothing for you, your planner, or the venue staff to manage on the day.
How Booking Works
One table, one engraver, a tray of blanks, and a line of guests leaving with something that has their name on it.
Step 1
Send your date, venue, guest count, and which part of the day you have in mind. I'll confirm availability and send a quote within 1–2 business days.
Step 2
Pick one or two items from the event menu, such as coasters, keychains, ornaments, or bottle openers. I'll help match the menu to your guests and the time you have.
Step 3
A 50% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due before the event. The host pays for the items in advance, so guests never pay at the table.
Step 4
I set up, guests choose their wording, and each piece is finished and in their hands before the event ends. No shipping and no waiting.
Pricing
On-site engraving is booked by the hour, and the host purchases the engraved items in advance.
$150 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, plus the items you choose from the event menu ($5 to $30 per piece). Additional hours are available at the same rate.
Please book at least 4 weeks ahead, especially for weekend weddings and busy spring and fall dates.
I serve Leland, Wilmington, and the surrounding coastal North Carolina area. Travel details and any current introductory offer are on the main on-site engraving page.
Not the right fit? If your wedding is too far, too big, or on a date I'm booked, I'll say so up front rather than leave you waiting. For gifts that don't need me on site, see the Etsy shop.
Check Your Date
Include the venue address or ZIP code below and I'll reply within 1–2 business days. If your venue is farther away, I'll tell you honestly what's possible.
